We give 2 recitals per school year. Our fall recital is a casual party/recital in December. In the spring, we put on a service recital at a nursing home or an assisted living facility. For the spring recital, students research and write their own program notes about the composers of their pieces. The recital program itself is also made by the students on the computer. The residents of the nursing home really enjoy having the students come in and share their talents with them.
